Who would James be?
I believe that I am a frustrated teacher. A lot of what I do – online, in print and on air – is teach. It is a marvelous feeling to know that you have helped someone with a challenge that they are facing and positively impacted their life. One of the fundamental reasons that I got into the 'information' business was due to my passion for interacting with people. I love working with other people. Kindness begets kindness and anything that I give comes back to me in spades.
And Morris?
Are you ready for this? I cooked for a living in 5-star restaurants like Neptune's Galley and the Norfolk Yacht & Country Club. Chef Peter Braun was the head chef who taught me everything I know about cooking. Although there was one lesson I learned the hard way. Back when I was working as a young cook in the steam station of a restaurant, I was playing around holding a lobster behind my back. That lobster un-did one of its claws and clamped down on my rear end! So ever since then I’ve been sticking with Italian dishes, like red sauce with homemade ravioli or meatballs.
