What is the Dry Color?
No dyes are added to Gorilla Wood Glue, which allows it to dry a natural translucent tan. No orange "after-glow."

Painting
Gorilla Wood Glue can be sanded and painted.

Stains and Dyes
Gorilla Wood Glue can be stained and dyed. However, the color may be a shade off the wood being glued.
Water-soluble food coloring type dyes and water based stains can be mixed into the glue before the glue is applied to the wood to get a closer color match. Experiment with varied mixtures to achieve the closest match to the final color desired.

Use With Homemade Wood Fillers
To ensure homemade wood fillers adhere to the surface, use the finest dust particle of wood possible when mixing with the glue. Also, make sure the ration of glue creates a toothpaste consistency. Use sparingly, as the product will not stain consistently with the surrounding wood.
